    Description

Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope (50Hz), Hunting Rifle Scope
    - PLEASE CONFIRM AVAILABILITY BEFORE PURCHASE
The Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is ideal for professional hunters. Like its sister product, the Pulsar Thermion XP38 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope, it provides premium thermal imaging in a state-of-the-art design. However, this model differs in that it has a narrower horizontal field-of-view, 12.4°, and a longer detection range, 1800m. Furthermore, the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope has a different magnification range: 2.0-16.0x.
    Thermal Imaging Technology
Like its sister product, the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is equipped with a 640 x 480 microbolometer sensor with a 17µm pixel pitch. It is possible to magnify 10% of the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s overall field-of-view using the Picture-in-Picture mode. The highlighted area is displayed in a box at the top-centre of the display. The user is able to magnify particular details without losing the overall FOV; the PIP mode is particularly useful when determining precise shot placements.
The digital zoom/ magnification also allows the user to improve image focus allowing him/her to highlight the details most relevant to him/her. This feature is particularly useful for target identification. The Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s superior thermal technology and imaging features ensure that the hunter is able to identify animals, animals’ extremities and environmental features such as branches, leaves, grass and terrain, providing the user with a comprehensive awareness of his/her surroundings.
Similarly, the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s full-colour, HD AMOLED display ensures the hunter is provided with intensely coloured, sharp, high-contrast thermal images; again, this improves target identification. The AMOLED technology also provides power savings.
The user is able to alter the colour palettes as necessary. In addition to standard White Hot and Black Hot palettes, the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope includes Sepia, Violet and Red Monochrome which are designed to reduce eye fatigue, making the IR riflescope suitable for use over prolonged periods. Alternatively, setting the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope to display thermal images using the Red Hot, Rainbow or Ultramarine colour palettes allows the user to see the most intense areas of an animal’s heat signature.
Adaptability is at the forefront of the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s design. Therefore, to facilitate in-the-field adjustments and quick rifle change-outs, the user is able to save up to five zeroing profiles to the riflescope, each containing ten distance coordinates.
    Easy-to-Use and Ergonomic
As mentioned above, the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is designed to be adaptable. To this end, it can be connected to standard 30mm scope rings without using specialist equipment, making the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope suitable for use with a variety of rifles.
Additionally, the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is recoil rated up to .375 H&H, 2-gauge and 9.3x64 making it suitable for use with large calibre rifles.
Moreover, this infrared riflescope is compatible with a range of Pulsar reticle options in various colours (black, white, green and red), including scalable ballistic-style reticles.
The Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s adaptability makes it both versatile and easy to handle; this thermal imaging weapon sight is also easy to operate. All its features, functions and settings can be accessed via a simple, three-button operating system.
Wi-Fi Connectivity, Pulsar Stream Vision App and Image/ Video Capture and Streaming
Infrared images and videos can be saved to the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s 16GB memory. This instrument has the capacity to save thousands of thermographic images as .jpg files and hours of thermographic videos in MPEG-4 formats.
It is also possible to stream IR images and videos to the user’s smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi and the Pulsar Stream Vision App. In addition to functioning as a second display, the user’s smartphone or tablet can be used as a second control. Via Wi-Fi and the Pulsar Stream Vision App the hunter can access the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s features and settings using his/her smartphone or tablet.
    Longevity, Durability and Practicality
In addition to supporting the Pulsar Stream Vision App, the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope will also support future Pulsar software. As a result, the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is future-proofed as it will be able to support new features and functions designed to improve performance.
With regards to its physical longevity, the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is housed in a rugged, reinforced, all-metal casing that is designed to protect it from the elements. This lightweight and waterproof IR riflescope is IPX7 certified ensuring that is resistant to precipitation such as heavy rainfall and snow. This instrument will remain functional despite being submerged in three feet of water for thirty minutes.
Finally, to preserve battery life the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope has an instant start-up. This means it can be left switched off until the moment it is required, thereby extending its operating time.
Moreover, the Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s dual battery system, consisting of an internal and external cell, also increases the unit’s operating time.
The Pulsar Thermion XP50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is a professional, premium and practical IR riflescope.
