RARE
Telescopic prismatic sight model 1908.Mfg by Warner Swazey.
Mounted originally to Springfield 1903!
Serial #352434.
Original mount included ( rifle mount is heavely pitted) but mount on scope shows plum blue inside dove tail shows some case colors)  original black paint is gone.
Optics are clouded but original reticle visable, clouded I think by mold that has gotten in.
I've never in my 50 yrs of collecting seen one with crystal clear sight picture .These were prismatic lenses.
Might contain original tool in case, but was afraid to destroy original pouch in storage case to find out. Open at you own peril.
It's liable to crumble (tool pouch in lid).
Mounted to rifles(serial number in dove tail) quite difficult to find.
Case mfg at Rock Island and dated1917. Inspected byJ>T>N>S>
