This car should be inspected and repaired if you’re going to make it a daily driver.. again I bought it because I love these E38 7 series It always starts and runs/drives… but I would not want the new owner to run into any major problems It’s a Project car with great potential for restoration and relatively low miles

I’ve been driving around the Nashville area as a weekend driver for a few years.
The engine and transmission feel pretty powerful and work well. the air conditioner is cold and the seat heaters are hot
I have never had the car inspected and I have only put a few thousand miles on it. I’m basically selling it as a project but it is a drivable car that is actually quite dependable
I hear some clacking noise when you drive over bumps in the front end. The paint on the hood is fading. The window regulators on three windows aren’t working right but the driver side one works fine.
I think it’s a good candidate for a BMW fanatic who has a good BMW mechanic to purchase— one of the best BMW designs of all time
Prior to this I drove a 740I for many years and it was virtually trouble free
I think these cars will actually gain in value over the years and I see many low mileage examples for well over ,000 now and up
I believe they will become collectible because it really is a phenomenal design that far exceeds the later 7 series in many ways
