    Description

    Vehicle Details
1995 Lexus SC300, rare black on black (best combo for this model). Described as a "Supra in a tuxedo" since they share so many parts, making it a sleeper collectible or great drift car. I told my new wife that I wanted to put in a turbo to take it to around 400 horsepower (the most I was advised it could take without changing the crank), and then put on a black and white checkered wrap kit to disguise the minor imperfections (former owners parked it under a tree - great for shade but some tree droppings spotted parts of the paint, as shown in pics) and make it look like an exotic Japanese formula racer I once saw....she had the last word so on eBay it goes to give someone else the opportunity and fun... Car looks and runs great - especially at night....can be a daily driver...no cracks on the dash, A/C and heater work fine, Alpine stereo with removable faceplate (subwoofer in the rear needs to be hooked up), tilt wheel, power seats work fine (slight tear on driver's side, as shown), power door locks work great, power windows (driver's side needs a regulator), power sunroof works great. Small ding on the passenger door near the door lock (as shown in pic). Front Lexus emblem has a small piece missing. Dash could use an additional lightbulb. Tires are in good shape - have about 60% of tread left. Clean Southern California car - no rust. Car mostly just sits in the garage these days... One of Toyota's best engines, I'm told (the JZ early-mid 90s) with a non-interference timing belt (if it breaks it will not harm the engine). Trunk is big enough for two golf bags. Much more convenient and comfortable than Corvettes or other sports cars of the era. Beautiful refined ride and handling. It has power and economy settings, as well as the optional overdrive button. Kids often drive past me and give a thumbs-up (I drive pretty conservatively). This model was on Car and Driver's "Ten Best" list for 1995 (https://www.caranddriver.com/features/a15143064/1995-10best-cars/) for the third year in a row. Later versions of this model didn't make it - not as sexy especially when it was redesigned as a "jellybean." Car has spare keys and the owners manual. Pink slip is clean. I will miss it...but the new wife is more fun so I can't complain.......... PS - you must have a demonstrated eBay relationship with satisfactory purchase ratings or your bid will be cancelled. PSS - there are no leaks or drips coming off it, e.g., where you see it parked in that garage photo. I drive it once a week to make sure the battery charges and the fluids fully circulate. The engine has never had to be opened up.
