Onny 3,500 miles on a meticulous body off frame restoration of a rust free car. It has many very desirable performance upgrades from a performance big block to custom suspension and air conditioning. This one is exceptional.
EXTERIOR: The car looks amazing. It has a great stance, the fit and finish is excellent. Pristine bodywork- laser straight and all the gaps are precise. Repainted it's original color, the metallic is laid out evenly and the clear coat looks extra glossy. Polished out smooth as glass. All of the chrome is redone or replaced. It has a good original grill. The stainless trim around all the windows is polished. New bowtie mirrors and door handles. The door jambs are painted real nice, new weather strips and window seals. The glass is tinted, new windshield. Staggered size set of gloss black salt flat wheels wrapped in performance tires- 20x8 in front, 20x9.5 in back. Halogen headlights.
INTERIOR: The inside is beautiful and full of features. The interior was gutted and lined with Dynamat sound deadener. New Ron Francis wiring harness. The new cushions give the seats a new feel and allows the new upholstery to fit tight. New seat belts front and back. New carpet on the floor with matching embroidered floor mats. The door panels, window cranks, handles and armrests were replaced. Above me is a new white headliner and visors, new mirror. The dash area and console are all restored. It has a factory tachometer and the factory gauge cluster. New tilt column and walnut steering wheel. There is a retro stereo in the dash. All the interior lights work.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow, it has a beautifully dressed 460 Chevy big block built by Coil Racing Engines. It is a full roller motor with 10.25:1 compression, aluminum heads, Edelbrock Performer manifold with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection. It also has MSD ignition. And fat coated headers. High quality chrome valve covers, chrome air cleaner and alternator dress it up. The front of the motor has a polished timing cover, billet pulleys and a polished a/c compressor. Classic Auto Air system keeps the passengers cool. A 4 core aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps the motor cool. It has power steering and a hydroboost boost power brake system with Wilwood master and braided hoses. It has billet catch can breathers with stainless braided hoses.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Rock solid, clean original metal trunk. Very neatly spatter painted. It has sound deadener under the trunk mat. There is a tire cover over the spare, it has a jack. The battery was relocated to the trunk and is in a stainless box with a cut off switch. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted real nice, weather strip is replaced.
UNDERSIDE: Under this car is new except for mint original floors and frame. In front is Global West tubular control arms, strut arms, Hotchkis sway bar, quick ratio steering box and QA-1 coilover gas adjustable shocks. In back it has Ride Tech adjustable upper trailing arms, billet aluminum lowers, Hotchkis adjustable sway bar, relocated panhard bar and QA-1 adjustable coilover gas shocks. All new custom brake system with drilled and slotted discs at all four wheels, new e-brake assembly, stainless lines and braided hoses. 2 1/5 inch stainless exhaust with x pipe and Dynomax mufflers. New 28 gallon fuel tank, high volume electric pump and sending unit. Looking up at the motor it has a custom anodized oil pan, mini high torque starter and a chrome flywheel cover. A 700R-4 overdrive automatic trans was pro built by Performance Racing Transmission. It has a Thor 3,000 stall with lock up, has a B&M trans cooler aluminum pan and is supported by a G-Force crossmember. In back it has a rebuilt rear end with an Eaton posi center section, Moser axles, 3.55 gear ratio with a girdle to support the carrier bearings and an aluminum cover. Immaculate all original floors. Rockers and lower quarters are all clean metal. It was prepped and painted a semi gloss black. The frame is smooth and painted too .
This car is impressive in all aspects. It has the looks, quality and performance. If you want something a little different than a Chevelle or Camaro this car is for you!
